Marietta, OH (February 27, 2013)-Par Mar Stores, a convenience store chain with 7 locations in Washington County, announced a $2,500.00 grant to the Washington County Red Cross for Sunday Fun-Day.

This informational event is a day of fun for health awareness and emergency preparedness. Events are still in the planning process. Past events have been proper car seat installation, fingerprinting, inflatables, food, and ambulance tours.

Executive Director Sheri Schwartz said the event is designed to educate and entertain parents and children alike. “It’s a day for families to learn about being prepared and having fun: This year thanks to a grant from Par Mar Stores, this year will be year bigger than ever. We will be offering more free give-away items and more entertainment. “It will be a fun day for all.”

“Giving back to our community and educating our youth is a Par Mar responsibility and we are proud and excited to be part of this great event,” said Jeralynne Offenberger, Petroleum Marketing and Category Supervisor for Par Mar Stores.
