Par Mar Stores will be selling stars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the month of August. Stop in your neighborhood store to show your support of this great cause! The power of a wish, one star at a time!
We have scheduled two kick off events on August 1st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Par Mar Store #18, 720 Division Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia and Par Mar Store #45, Junction of 250 & 219, Huttonsville, West Virginia. Hope to see you there!
“If you could go anywhere, be anything, meet anyone, or have anything, what would it be?”
When a seriously ill child answers this question, a wish is born.
The West Virginia Oil Marketers & Grocers Association (OMEGA) in conjunction with Par Mar Stores and other retailers in West Virginia make this wish come true. Since Par Mar Stores has stores in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky, we have expanded our giving back campaign to the Make-A-Wish organization for these states as well.
In 2013, team Par Mar’s campaign was a success! Overall we raised over $26,000 for the organization. Par Mar Store #18 was the top selling star retailer in West Virginia. Their store had a wish granted to a child in recognition of their amazing effort.
One star at a time we support this great foundation! The success of 2013’s campaign would not have been a success without the help of you—our customer!
The giving back campaign for 2014 Make-A-Wish will be in August.
